Turmeric is not just a trend- Why you should add Turmeric to your diet

The power of Golden Milks from India

I was introduced to "Golden Milks" in India when I was 12 years old. My mom and I were sipping on this exotic yellow drink almost every day  (that we refer to as the "Coffee" of India), enjoying it's spicy vanilla taste and not once contemplating the health benefits. These benefits are so amazing that I have been drinking Golden Milks ever since I discovered and experienced all their health boost qualities. But: it's not enough to just buy some turmeric powder from a Toko and sprinkle it on your food if you want to use it for health related issues. The body does not absorb curcumin (which is the key compound for a health boost) that easily into the body. When looking for a turmeric supplement that has a real impact, make sure it is organic and also has pepper added to the mix. Pepper enhances curcumin's absorption in the body by up to 2,000%, so combining the two spices magnifies their effects.
